Can I register for IDR Gateway now?

Yes. CMS opened account creation on September 15, 2026. Users can create an account, sign in, and join an organization. Registration being open does not mean every dispute-processing feature has launched.

Who needs an IDR Gateway account?

Organizations and individuals processing disputes or representing parties must register. CMS says parties using another organization to process disputes need not register themselves, but must ensure their representative organization does.

When will the existing standalone forms stop being available?

Does this mean Navigator connects directly to IDR Gateway?

No direct integration is being announced here. Contact our team to confirm supported workflows and which steps your staff must complete in the CMS system. Do not assume automatic synchronization or submission between the two platforms.

Where can I find official IDR Gateway access and help?

Start with the official CMS IDR Gateway page for access instructions and user guides. CMS lists IDRGatewayHelp@cms.hhs.gov and 1-800-985-3059 for assistance.
